Moderator Biography
Ashley Lloyd, BSN, RN
Ashley Lloyd, BSN, RN, is a pediatric nurse with over 15 years of experience across inpatient and home-based care. She began her career in inpatient pediatrics, where she specialized in pediatric oncology, including chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant care, as well as general pediatrics.
After taking time off to raise her three children, Ashley transitioned into home infusion nursing, where she found her passion for caring for patients with rare diseases. For the past three years, she has worked closely with individuals living with Pompe disease and Duchenne muscular dystrophy, providing specialized, compassionate, and patient centered care in the home setting. Ashley dedicated to continuing her growth in rare disease care and expanding her involvement in the Pompe community, including attending the 2024 AMDA conference to further her expertise.
